02 What data we process

  • Browsing data: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, date and time of the visit. These are collected by the site's IT systems for its operation and security, and in aggregate form for statistics.
  • Data you provide voluntarily: name, email, telephone number and the other information you enter in the site's forms (contact).
  • Cookies and similar tools: see the Cookie policy.

We do not collect special categories of data (e.g. health data) through the site.

03 Contact requests

When you write to us through the contact form we process your name, email, telephone number (if provided) and the content of your message in order to reply to you. Legal basis: performance of pre-contractual or contractual measures taken at your request (art. 6.1.b GDPR) and our legitimate interest in responding to requests (art. 6.1.f). Messages are kept for as long as necessary to handle the request and in any case no longer than 24 months.

04 Event registration

Registration and payment for events take place on Roadbooking (https://roadbooking.com), the registration platform run by our technology partner. When you click a registration button you are taken to Roadbooking: the data you enter there is processed in accordance with Roadbooking's privacy notice, together with ours in our capacity as organiser of the event. The link to Roadbooking contains only technical referral parameters (site and language), no personal data.

05 Usage statistics

With your consent we use statistics tools (Google Analytics 4) to understand how the site is used and to improve it. These tools use the cookies and identifiers described in the Cookie policy. Legal basis: consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR), which you can give or refuse in the cookie banner and change at any time from "Cookie preferences" at the bottom of the site. Without consent these tools are not activated.

06 Marketing and social media

With your consent we use marketing tools (Meta Pixel) to measure the effectiveness of our campaigns and show you relevant content on social networks. These tools may transfer data to their respective providers, including outside the European Union, on the basis of standard contractual clauses and adequacy decisions of the European Commission. Legal basis: consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR), which you can withdraw from "Cookie preferences".

07 Embedded videos

The videos on the site are hosted on YouTube or Vimeo and are loaded only when you press play, in privacy-enhanced mode: until then no data is sent to these services. When a video is played, the privacy notices of Google (YouTube) and Vimeo apply.

08 Who can access the data

The data is processed by the controller's staff and collaborators who are authorised and instructed to process it. It may be accessed, as processors or independent controllers, by the providers we rely on: the site's hosting provider (servers in the European Union), the email service provider, the Roadbooking registration platform, Google Ireland Ltd, Meta Platforms Ireland, Vimeo Inc.. The data is neither disclosed to the public nor sold.

09 Transfers outside the European Union

The site and the data from its forms are hosted in the European Union. Some third-party tools (Google, Meta) may process data in the United States: in these cases the transfer takes place on the basis of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

10 How long we keep the data

We keep the data for as long as necessary for the purposes set out in each section and in any case no longer than the periods required by law. Technical browsing logs are kept for a maximum of 12 months for security purposes. Data collected on the basis of consent is deleted when consent is withdrawn.

11 Your rights

At any time you can request access to your data, its rectification or erasure, the restriction of processing and data portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest (arts. 15-22 GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

To exercise your rights write to info@rallypov.it. If you believe that the processing infringes the law you can lodge a complaint with the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it) (Italian Data Protection Authority) or with the supervisory authority of your country.

12 Minors
